AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Island Exodus 16, will now take place January 17–21, 2027

This morning, the Royalton Resort Group informed us that both the Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters and Royalton Blue Waters will remain closed until September 15, 2026 for a complete renovation due to the effects of Hurricane Melissa. This was not the outcome the resort had hoped for. Initially, they believed they could repair the damaged areas and operate through the winter season before beginning more extensive work next summer. However, after a detailed review, it became clear that the scope of the project is far too large to complete within such a limited timeframe. Combined with their commitment to maintaining the highest standards, the resort ultimately made the difficult decision to remain closed until the renovation is complete.

Island Exodus 16, will now take place January 17–21, 2027, at the completely renovated Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters in Trelawny, Jamaica. We are also pleased to share that the line-up will remain intact with moe., Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, and John Scofield coming for the 2027 event. Gov’t Mule and Island Gigs are deeply disappointed that we won’t be able to spend time with you—dancing the night away on the beach—in January 2026. However, we truly believe that when we return in January 2027, we will come back stronger than ever. The Hideaway will be a completely refurbished resort, staffed by a team eager to deliver the very best Island Exodus experience yet.

CANCEL My RESERVATION

YOU NOW HAVE UNTIL MAY 1,2026 TO CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION WITH A FULL REFUND. 

However, if you want to receive your refund, by years end, please notify us by December 8th by clicking on the link below "CANCEL MY RESERVATION".

*In the case that Island Gigs does not receive a response with your decision, by December 8, 2025, your reservation will automatically be transferred to the 2027 event.

In closing, it can’t be said often enough how the effects of Hurricane Melissa have touched all of us, but none more deeply than the people of Jamaica. While we are disappointed that our events have been rescheduled, our greatest concern is for the well-being of the friends and communities we’ve grown close to over the years.
